Scope changes happen on almost every job. What separates a clean change order from a dispute later is two things: getting it signed before anyone touches the changed work, and knowing your real, current contract total at any point without adding up a stack of paper change orders by hand.

The change order form (PDF and HTML, with a signature block) is what you fill out and get signed the moment a scope change is agreed on, before the crew starts on it. The change order log (Excel) is what turns a pile of individually-signed forms into one running number: log each approved change order’s cost and schedule impact, and the Contract Total tab updates automatically, so you always know the current revised contract total when a client asks or a draw request is due.
It’s built for construction specifically, where scope changes are common and an inaccurate running total is the single fastest way to end up underbilled on a job you actually finished on budget.

The log is a .xlsx file, so Excel or a compatible spreadsheet app (Google Sheets, LibreOffice Calc) that can open .xlsx and run basic formulas will work. The form itself is PDF and HTML, no spreadsheet software needed for that part.
